Hum means "our", Terra means "earth", we at humterra love the outdoors and respect our planet. We all can do a little bit to protect it.

Designed in Britain by passionate climbers for passionate climbers. Handcrafted by talented craftspeople specialised in wood and fabrics for high-quality gear supporting community.

Our Vision

It is our vision to create innovative products designed by climbers for climbers led by our passion for rock. We see climbing not only as a sport but as an art to move your body and we believe also the gear and products are an art itself. Humterra's mission is to produce gear for sustainable and lasting use and your satisfaction matters to us.

Our Mission

Our products are handcrafted and designed with detail and care. We design in Manchester, near the Peak and Lake District, and create gear putting attention into detail. We love the inclusiveness of the sport and to calming the mind being outdoors. We want to inspire people using our gear to explore the rocks and the outdoors.

The founder started climbing in their 20s and believes climbing to be a sport for everyone no matter at what stage in life or level of fitness. It's great to destress, make friends and explore the outdoors.

We are happy to incorporate customer suggestions into our product designs as we strive to make climbers happy.
